makes a 24 cm round cake
150 g dark chocolate
150 g butter
150 g sugar
150 g flour
3 eggs
½ tsp baking powder
pinch if salt
500 g pitted sour cherries
flour, to dust
melt the butter with sugar, take off heat and add chocolate - stir until melted
add eggs, one at time, mixing well after each addition
sift in the flour with baking powder and salt, mix until smooth
pour into a lined pan
dust the cherries in flour and spread all over the cake
bake 30 minutes in 180C
